There is probably no company in Slovakia, that wasn't influenced in some way by the world credit crisis. Reality is not good and if a company wants to survive in the longterm, it must switch to a save-mode at the moment. It means that only those departments and those positions will be retained that are the most necessary for company's run such as core processes. (BEWARE!, not a development).

As soon as the market situation changes, the consupmtion will raise again as well as the amount of work needed to satisfy clients' needs, which will lead to demand for companies to hire again - in the best case those who recognize an old employer. Whether people dismissed today would like to be employed in the same company again tomorrow, depends on the company's approach during the dismissal period. The fact that company needs to dismiss employees due to financial crisis can be understood, however, if the company behaves without remorse, provides no support or help, that may dissappoint the people and make them “fairly“ upset for a long time.
